The Sioux Falls Canaries and Gary SouthShore RailCats would be scoreless until the sixth, but the Canaries would pick up the 9-1 win to take the first two games of the series.
Pierre’s Spencer Sarringar would go 3-3 with three singles scoring two runs as he led the team in the 13 hits for the win. Josh Rehwaldt would double and have four RBIs going 2-4. Sioux Falls had a five run eight inning after leading 4-0 after seven and Gary SouthShore getting within three in the top of the eighth.
The Canaries and RailCats will close its three game series today as the Birds will look for a sweep. First pitch is at 4:05 from the Bird Cage.
