Pierre Post 8 senior legion has just two doubleheaders left at home starting this afternoon as the Rapid City Post 22 Expos will be in town for a matinee.
The Eights are coming in with two wins on Sunday over Box Elder beating Post 315 by nine and ten runs and have now won four of the last six games overall. Pierre will get a test from the Rapid City junior legion team who is 38-11 overall and 9-0 in South Dakota junior legion games. The Expos have been able to compete with plenty of senior legion teams. Because the Expos are a junior legion team, today’s game does not count for the South Dakota standings. The Eights will also travel up to Bismarck on Thursday for the final two non-South Dakota games for the season.
