PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission has one of the lightest agendas of the year before them tonight. First up for the Commission is approval of a four-item consent calendar. Included on the calendar are meeting minutes from the July 2nd meeting, claims and two new hire approvals. The new hires are a seasonal concession manager in the Recreation Department and a new Airport ARFF, Operations and Maintenance Technician for Pierre Regional Airport. There is no unfinished business and only one item of new business. That is the approval of four temporary liquor license requests from Larkspur Landing Event Center for events on July 27th, September 7th and 14th and October 12th. Commissioners will wrap up the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm at the Pierre Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the community.
