Stanley County Commission To Hold July Meeting Tonight

FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Stanley County Commission is meeting tonight at the Stanley County Courthouse. The Commission will consider approval of the agenda, meeting minutes and claims before hearing reports including the County’s post-election audit report. Rick Striker will discuss an engineering report on the structure of the courthouse building and a boiler chemical tank with the Commission. 4-H Regional Youth Educator Regina Bakely will meet with the Commission along with Willie Cowan and Ross Nelson regarding the Freedom of Information Act. Commissioners will also meet with neighbors of a proposed buffalo packing plant and Fairgrounds Manager Scott Deal regarding an arena groomer. Highway Superintendent Lee Smith is also on the agenda. Commissioners will consider a raise, the Vanguard Remote Module program with the Director of Equalization and automatic budget supplements for election supplies, fairgrounds utilities and fairgrounds supplies. An executive session for personnel is also on the agenda. The Stanley County Commission meets tonight at five pm.
