PIERRE, (KCCR) — It may be the middle of summer, but the Pierre School District and School Board are preparing already for the upcoming school year. Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt says he’s already meeting teachers ahead of the next school year…
However Glodt says there are staff positions sill open in the District…
Glodt is hopeful the District can maybe fill those staffing needs in the community…
The Pierre School Board also elected Joan Adam to serve as the Board’s new president for the next year. Dan Cronin was selected at the new vice president. The meeting also marked the first for new Business Manager Travis Dovre who is assuming that job from Darla Mayer, who retired last month after 16 years with the District.
