PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Hughes County Commission is kicking off the first day of July with it’s first meeting of the month tonight. Commissioners will consider approval of meeting minutes and claims before considering approval of advertising tax deed properties for sealed bids. Jennifer Gray will meet with the Commission to discuss a Department of Social Services Mental Health Grant Agreement and Commissioners will discuss poor relief and general civil contract with the State’s Attorney’s Office. There are three personnel matters on the agenda before Commissioners will hear reports from Finance Officer Thomas Oliva, County Manager Lori Jacobson and Commission liaison reports. The Hughes County Commission meets tonight in the second floor Commission chambers at the Hughes County Courthouse at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
