Fort Pierre City Council To Meet Tonight

FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) –The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room. City officials will present reports to the Council before getting into the main agenda. A public hearing is scheduled for the city’s drinking water improvement project. The Council will also reconsider bids for the Tatanka Trail Pedestrian Bridge. Two pay requests are on the agenda, both for Morris Incorporated. One is for work on Creager Court and the other on West Main Avenue. The Council will consider approval of temporary liquor license requests from the Silver Spur for the Pat Duffy Community Center for events on August 31st; September 28th; October 12th and December 14th. The Council will also discuss personnel items for parks and street maintenance. The Fort Pierre City Council meets tonight at six pm. The meeting open to the public.
