FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Fort Pierre City Council has approved a resolution for an application for additional financial assistance for a water tank storage project. The simple request to apply for fund that would only be used if needed and puts the city under no obligation for paying back what is not needed brought 25 minutes of conversation during the Council’s Monday night meeting. Meanwhile the City of Fort Pierre is still expected two planned days of water restrictions on June 23rd and 26th so that work can be done at the Mni Wiconi water treatment plant north of Fort Pierre.
