PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is meeting tonight at the District Administration Building. Board members will consider approval of a nine-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt, Board members and any comments from the public. Board members will declare any conflicts of interest before discussing goals for the 2024-25 school year. First reading will be given to proposed changes to T-F Riggs High, Georgia Morse Middle and Pierre Elementary school handbook changes for the next school year. The Board will also consider the special education comprehensive plan and hear the audit report for the previous fiscal year. Other agenda items include consideration of adopting the budget for the 2024-25 school year and renewal of worker’s compensation coverage and insurance renewals for property, auto and liability coverage and approval of donations, resignations and contract items. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
