Friday begins the State Trap Tournaments in Aberdeen as both the Skeet and Trap shooting tournaments will take place for area teams in the state.
The Pierre high school team will have a busy weekend with both trap and skeet shooting. Pierre will begin shooting at 10:00 AM on Saturday for skeet on Field 1 and will start its second round around 1:00. Then on Sunday, Pierre will start at 8:00 AM on Sunday for trap shooting on Field 10. The rounds will go until around 12:00 and then start its second round to finish out the tournament.
Stanley County will skeet shoot on Friday starting at 11:00 AM on Field 1. Stanley County will have two sessions to begin round one and then start again around 2:00 for the second round.
Lyman and Gettysburg will start at 8:00 AM on Saturday with Lyman on Field 12 and Gettysburg on Field 11. Lyman will also shoot on Sunday starting at 10:00 AM on Field 2 with the second round to start around 1:45.
