FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — A Midland woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash Friday in Stanley County. The South Dakota Highway Patrol says the 63 Barb Ann Stoeser died in a rollover crash at War Creek Road and 286th Avenue on Friday afternoon around one pm. The preliminary investigation indicates Stoeser was driving her 2005 Ford Taurus south on War Creek Road when for unknown reasons the sedan left the road and entered the east ditch. The Taurus rolled multiple time coming to rest on it’s right side. Stoeser was not using seat belts and died from injuries in the crash. The crash happened approximately 13 miles south of Fort Pierre.
