STANLEY COUNTY, (KCCR) — A woman has died in a crash in Stanley County. The South Dakota Highway Patrol says the 63 year-old woman died in a rollover crash at War Creek Road and 286th Avenue on Friday afternoon around one pm. The preliminary investigation indicates the woman was driving her 2005 Ford Taurus south on War Creek Road when for unknown reasons the sedan left the road and entered the east ditch. The Taurus rolled multiple time coming to rest on it’s right side. The woman was no using seat belts and died from injuries in the crash. The driver’s name is being withheld pending notification of family.
