PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is set to meet tonight at the District Administration Building. The Board will consider approval of an eight-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Board comments will follow along with a Riggs Skills U-S-A update and Riggs Student Senate update. Any public comments will follow the Riggs updates. Any conflicts of interest will be declared before Board members consider approval of official bank depositories and will hear the preliminary fiscal year 25 proposed budget. Final reading and adoption will be considered for the Business Manager job description and the Board will consider amendments to the state Activities Association Constitution and elections for an at-large representative. Other action items for the Pierre School Board include school meal prices, pay raises for substitutes, donations, chartered busing bids, food service bids, open enrollments, resignations and contract items. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
