The Augustana Vikings will travel down to Pittsburg, Kansas for its Regional Round part of the Central 1 region which begins play on Thursday.
Augustana will face Oklahoma Baptist in the first game of the Region tournament. Pittsburg State, the host team will face Southern Arkansas in the other first round game. It’s a double elimination format with the winner of the weekend heading to the Super Regional Round. The Vikings are 45-13 on the season and won the NSIC tournament last weekend shutting out its opponents in all three games. Only Pittsburg State at 51-6 has a better record than Augustana.
First pitch between Augustana and Oklahoma Baptist is at 3:00 on Thursday.
