The Augustana Vikings softball team would not allow a run and only three hits in total winning the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championship on Saturday.
Augustana would win 9-0 scoring six runs in the bottom of the sixth to finish off Minnesota Duluth an inning earlier. Kennedy Buckman would hit the walk off homer as she would hit two homers and five RBIs in the championship game. Grace Glanzer allowed her first hits of the tournament to lead off the game. Glanzer threw a perfect game in the quarterfinals and a no-hitter in the semifinals allowing just one base runner in two games.
The selection show of the Division II tournament will be at 9:00 AM on Monday where Augustana will know who and where they will play. Regionals begin on Thursday May 9.
