The Pierre Governors had three golfers compete in varsity on Thursday in Huron with another two competing in JV as Hadley Hart would place 14th, best for the Govs at Broadland Creek Golf Course.
Hart would shoot a 14 over par, 86, good for 14th place while Annie Mosteller, the lone senior for the Governors would finish in 18th place at 16 over par, 88. Hart would finish with one birdie, hole six, a par five. Kiera Mertes would place still inside the top 30 at 28th shooting a 25 over par, 97 to round out the three Governor scores.
Olivia Braun of Aberdeen would win the invite individually as she was just one over par at 73, one shot better than Mitchell’s Allison Meyerink. Mitchell would win the team score by a stroke over Aberdeen Central.
Pierre will be at Hillcrest Golf Course today in Yankton for its second invite in two days. Tee time is at 10:00 AM.
