Area Seniors Recognized By Associated School Boards Of South Dakota

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Associated School Boards of South Dakota along with Governor Kristi Noem and Lt. Governor Larry Rhoden recognized 20 area students among dozens across the state at the 34th annual Academic Excellence luncheon. The students, designated by their respective school were identified as being in the top one-percent of their senior class from the state’s public, private and tribal schools. Central South Dakota Schools and students recognized are Stevie Wittler from Sully Buttes; Amelia Jones from Chamberlain; Keith Heth of Crow Creek; Juell Twite of Cheyenne-Eagle Butte; Skylar Vig of Faulkton; Nicholas Schlachter of Gettysburg; Wakely Burns of Haakon County; Carson Stephenson of Highmore-Harrold; Madison Hoerner of Hoven; Tristian Host of Jones County; Emily Zickrick of Kadoka Area; Blake Lieferman of Kimball; Aspen Hickey of Lyman; Jolanei Baker of Miller; Morgan Johnson and Jordan Mayer of Pierre; Cadence Hand of Stanley County; Lydia Lo of Sunshine Bible Academy and Nicholas Marshall of White River.
