Wings Look for Series Win as Games Shift to Aberdeen

The Aberdeen Wings will be at home Friday and Saturday in games three and four of the NAHL First Round playoff series as the series is tied 1-1 against the Bismarck Bobcats.

Of the eight series happening in the NAHL Playoffs, Aberdeen is one of just three teams to have won on the road in the first weekend of the playoffs. The Wings won game two in overtime, 3-2, over Bismarck to take home ice advantage into this weekend. Both games will be played at the Odde Ice Center in Aberdeen and if the Wings win both, will win the series most likely facing Minot in the division championship series, who lead the Austin Bruins 2-0 in the best-of-five series. Aberdeen had won just two of the 10 games in total against Bismarck, but only two wins away from upsetting the Bobcats in the first round.

Puck drop is at 7:15 on both Friday and Saturday in Aberdeen. If the two teams split the games, a winner-take-all game five will be played on Monday in Bismarck.
