Tennis Hosts Brandon Valley in ESD Dual on Senior Recognition

The Pierre tennis team remains at home as the schedule continues to favor the Governors at home through the remainder of the season hosting Brandon Valley today on senior recognition.

The Governors have its lone dual today with next week’s annual tournament on the horizon. Brandon Valley comes in at 8-7 on the season splitting its triangular on Tuesday beating Watertown but falling to Sioux Falls Christian. The Lynx are just 2-3 in the ESD with wins over Brookings and Watertown while the Govs, at 3-8 overall, are 1-4 in the ESD with two losses to the Huron Tigers.

Devin Dodson, who plays singles flight one and doubles flight two with junior Weston Northrup, will be honored today before the dual as the lone senior on the Governor squad.

The dual is set to begin at 2:00 this afternoon from the Griffin Park Tennis Courts.
