The Pierre Governor softball team has to deal with more postponements as both Friday and Saturday’s game in Mitchell and Brookings has been postponed, but both have make up dates.
Friday’s game against Mitchell will be moved just days later as the Governors will travel to Mitchell on Tuesday now with the varsity still playing at 4:00. Saturday’s game against Brookings will be moved to Sioux Falls and will be played on either Friday or Saturday May 3-4. The Governors will be in Sioux Falls for a tournament and the tournament schedule hasn’t been released as of yet so a day and time will not be put into place until the full schedule of the tournament is released.
The 2-5 Governors will have its opener scheduled for Monday, April 29 with the Governors hosting the Watertown Arrows. First pitch is at 4:00 from the Riggs High School Softball Field.
