The Pierre Governor girls golf team would place fifth in its only home invite of the season on Tuesday as both Hadley Hart and Annie Mosteller would medal for the Govs.
Pierre would shoot a total of 363, just 14 shots back of fourth and 30 shots of second as Mitchell would win the team score on Tuesday with a 36 over par, 320.
Mosteller would finish in 13th place, the highest finisher for the Governors as she was 14 over par, 85, within five shots of reaching as high as sixth place. Hart would finish in 20th place at a 19 over par, 90. Hart would birdie hole 10. Sittie Kasan and Keira Mertes, each in their first varsity competitions would place tied for 30th at 23 over par, 93. Drew Rechtenbaugh, in her second event would finish with a 106.
The Governors will be back in action on Thursday with a trip to Aberdeen at Lee Park Golf Course. Tee time is at 10:00 AM
