Governors Host Legion Relays after Weekend Postponement

Governors Host Legion Relays after Weekend Postponement

The Pierre Governor track and field team will be at home for the first time this year as they host the Legion Relays today after the original date was postponed from Friday to Monday.

Pierre was scheduled to host the Bob Judson two weeks ago, but was canceled because of winter weather. Now, the Governors will get to compete on its home field and track after having the original Legion Relay day pushed back through the weekend. Stanley County will join the Governors from teams in the area on those competing for day.

Timing doesn’t change from the original day as field events begin at 11:00 AM and the track events to start at 12:30 at Hollister Field in Pierre.
