Aberdeen Wings Face Bismarck Bobcats in Divisional Playoff Round

The North American Hockey League playoffs started last week with two divisions having its play-in series. Now, the four divisions will have its divisional semifinals which includes the Aberdeen Wings facing the Bismarck Bobcats in a best-of-five series.

Aberdeen placed third in the Central Division this year at 31-24-2-3 with a total of 67 points, two ahead of fifth place sneaking into the playoffs. Bismarck, on the other hand, the two seed in the Central, had 84 points on the season at 40-16-1-3. And in the season, Bismarck owned the Wings picking up 10 wins in 12 games. Aberdeen has its work cut off for themselves to reach the Central Division Finals looking to win the Robertson Cup for the first time since the 2019 season. Bismarck last won the title in 2010.

The best-of-five series will start in Bismarck on Friday and Saturday with games three and four to be played Friday and Saturday, April 26-27 in Aberdeen. If the series goes to a fifth and deciding game it will be on Monday back in Bismarck. Puck drop is at 7:05 for all five games.
