PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The meeting will start with two items of special business; a proclamation for National Public Safety Telecommunications Week and an update to the schedule for Denver Air Connection at Pierre Regional Airport. Commissioners will consider approval of a nine-item consent calendar before considering approval of a construction manager at-risk for the wastewater final clarifier project as the only item of old business. In new business, Commissioners will consider a third and final change order for the sewer main lining project, an agreement with the Pierre Swim Team for use of the Outdoor Pool and a resolution to allow on-sale liquor licenses at city-owned facilities. Other agenda items include consideration of a renewable energy certificate agreement with Missouri River Energy Services, a request to bid for electrical equipment guardrails and a cold storage building project for the Electric Department. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
