Stanley County Boys Win Team Score, Jones County Second in Todd County Invite

The Stanley County Buffalo boys team would win the team score at the Todd County Track and Field Invite on Friday while Jones County would place second in both the boys and girls team scores.

Stanley County

The Buffs would win four overall events on Friday with Brendon Bothwell winning the 400 meters while Case Kolda would place first in the javelin throw. The team of Paxton Deal, Colton Brady, Landon Bame and Bothwell would win the 4×200 relay while Brylee Larson, Addy Deal, Austyn Norman and Brianna Sargent would win the 4×200 on the girls side. Sargent would also get second in the 400 meters and Larson second int he 800 meters. Rachel Rungee would get second in the javelin throw while Paxton Deal would get second in the long jump and Bothwell in the 200 meters.

Jones County

Jones County had 11 wins overall on the day. Jett Nix was apart of four wins overall as he would win the high jump along with teaming up with Kaden and Bryer Kinsley and Adrik Schoon to win the 4×400, Schoon Jace Nix and Tyler Iverson 4×800 relay and then Bryer Kinsley, Thad Kierl and Schoon in the Sprint Medley Relay race. Asa Best would win both the 200 meter run and the long jump. On the girls side, BreAna Aske would get three wins with the long jump and 400 and 800 meter runs. The team of Denae Mann, Timber Vevig, Sunny Valberg and Addison Rankin would get wins in both 4×400 and spring medley relay race.

Lyman

Brooklyn Larson would get the only Lyman Raider win on the day in the discus throw. Larson also placed third in the shot put. Rory McManus in the 110 meter hurdle, Mesa Garnos in the 100 meter hurdles, Cole Kieffer in the shot put and Louie Thiry in the shot put all placed second for the Raiders.
