To stay safe in hot weather wear loose, lightweight, light colored clothes, drink plenty of non-alcoholic fluids to stay hydrated and avoid high-energy activity or outdoor, labor-intensive work during the hottest times of the day. To limit wildfire dangers don’t conduct burning during very high or extreme fire danger days and have water near a fire in case the fire escapes containment.
