For the first time this year, the Sully Buttes Chargers will compete and will also host its first event of the season with the Sully Buttes’ Early Bird Track Meet.
Joining the Chargers in Onida today will be the Pierre Governors, Potter County Battlers and the Highmore-Harrold Pirates from the area. Overall, eight teams will be at Sully Buttes High School today.
The Governors were able to compete on Friday in Huron, but of the area teams, the only school to have competed over the last week. In fact, Highmore-Harrold will also be competing for the first time this season with Sully Buttes while Potter County will be outside for the first time after been in Aberdeen at the Northern State indoor event back on March 26.
The field events begin at 2:30 with the track events to start at 3:30 at Sully Buttes High School.
