PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is meeting tonight at the Pierre School District Administration building. The Board will consider approval of an eight-item agenda before moving on to the main agenda. Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt will present comments to the Board with Board and public comments to follow. The Board will also hear an update from the Riggs Student Senate. Riggs principal Kelly Hansen will present an accreditation summary to the board along with an update on the 2024 School Board election. The Board will consider action on a High School Activities Association School Board resolution and elections for the Activities Association Board of Directors. Final reading will be given to a C-T-E and Fine Arts Curriculum recommendation and first reading will be given to a revised job description for the District’s Business Manager. Other agenda items include considering renewal of health benefits, a negotiated agreement for certified employees, compensation for classified employees, administrators and superintendent along with open-enrollments, donations resignations and contracts. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
