Pierre Man’s Arrest A Part Of Busy Weekend For Pierre Police

PIERRE, (KCCR) — Last weekend was a busy one for Pierre police with 11 people being arrested for 27 different charges or warrants of arrest. In one of those arrests, Pierre Police Captain Dusty Pelle says officers were called Saturday morning around 11:40 am to the 2300 block of Flag Mountain Drive for two subjects being disorderly and yelling at each other. Arriving officers located two individuals upon arrival; a juvenile and 18 year-old Jace Brave of Pierre. Pelle says both subjects were not cooperating will police during their investigation. As both subjects were being arrested Brave began resisting the officers attempts to bring him into custody and threatened an officer. Brave was taken to the Hughes County Jail on charges of Threatening Law Enforcement, Simple Assault-Intimidation, Underage Consumption of Alcohol, Obstructing an Officer, Resisting Arrest and Underage Possession of Tobacco. Information on the juvenile’s arrest are not being released.
