The Pierre Governor girls basketball team placed fifth last month at the AA state basketball tournament in Sioux Falls and both Reese Terwilliger and Lennix DuPris were honored last week with a second team All-State Selection.
Terwilliger, the South Dakota School of Mines commit led the team in scoring and in rebounding averaging 14.7 points and 5.7 rebounds a game. Kirk Beebout, head coach of the Governors says she does a lot of things great…
DuPris is coming off a year just behind Terwilliger in points averaging 14.3 points per game, but her defense and ability to force turnovers might be even more impressive. She finished with 75 steals, a new Pierre Governor single season record. Beebout says she’s constantly in the gym putting in the work…
