Terwilliger, AA Win Both Games in Three Class Shootout

Pierre’s Reese Terwilliger and her Class AA team would win both games of the Three Class Shootout held in Salem on Saturday as AA beat Class A first 89-85 in overtime then Class B 80-76.

Terwilliger would nearly get a double-double in the first game of the day scoring nine points and grabbing a game high 11 rebounds. Terwilliger went 4-5 from the field knocking down a three in the win. AA was led in scoring by O’Gorman’s Mahli Abdouch and Lucy Moore each finishing with 19 points.

In game two, the AA girls would hold on for a four point victory where Terwilliger finished with six points on 2-5 shooting grabbing four rebounds. Terwilliger went 2-4 from the free throw line drawing a lane violation as she did so much during her time with the Governors. Moore had the game high again scoring another 19 points while Yankton’s Claire Tereshinski finished with 16. Lyman’s Skyler Volmer had 14 and seven going 6-11 from the field.

On the boys side, Class A would beat AA 99-92 before Class B finished with a 118-112 victory over Class A to finish the night. Daniel Mitchell of Gregory would win the dunk contest.
