Softball Postpones Tuesday’s Games to Thursday, Home Opener Postponed

The Pierre Governor softball team was scheduled to be in Aberdeen on Tuesday for a triangular as the Govs were going to play Aberdeen Central and Watertown, but the games are postponed to Thursday.

The postponement to Thursday subsequentially postpones the home opener scheduled for Thursday against Watertown and the game will be rescheduled, but there is no make up date yet determined. It again sends back the beginning of the season another couple of days, but with the games to be played at the Presentation College bubble in Aberdeen, all that’s needed are for the roads to be in good shape. The likelihood of playing on Thursday at the bubble is much greater than playing in Pierre or anywhere outside on Thursday.

The schedule remains the same as Pierre will play Aberdeen Central first at 3:00 with the Watertown game to follow on Thursday.
