Pierre/Fort Pierre Rotary Open Window For Grants To Assist Local Non-Profit Agencies

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre/Fort Pierre Rotary has opened up its availability for grants to help area non-profits reach their goals. Any non-profits can seek a Rotary grant as long as the work of those organizations apply to any of the Rotary’s pillar. The Rotary has seven pillars upon which they believe in. Those pillars include promoting peace; fighting disease; providing clean water and hygiene; support for mothers and children, education; growing local economies and protecting the environment. Applications must reflect one or more of those focus area. Individual grants can be awarded anywhere from five-hundred to five-thousand dollars each. Applicants must be 501-c-three organizations and should be supported by a Rotarian who is familiar with the non-profits work. Preference will be given to organizations that show additional funding sources. The application deadline is April 15th. For more information contact Chuck Quinn at [email protected].
