PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight at the Hughes County Courthouse. The Commission in their special business portion will discuss the Let Freedom Fly Airshow and a raffle by the Militiamen Motorcycle Club. There is no unfinished business for the Commission but a number of new business items. Commissioners will get an update on the BIG Bridge Grant program and consider highway bids and road stripping. The Commission will also consider a budget supplement for the Sheriff’s Office, a J-S-C Contract and a letter requesting support from River City Transit and the South Dakota Foundation for Medical Care. The agenda also includes personnel items, reports and an executive session for human resources, HIPPA and cyber security. The Hughes County Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
