PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Commissioners will be greeted to night with a fairly light agenda of action items and a busy consent calendar. In special business, the Commission will get an update on 2024 season at Hillsview Golf Course. In addition to minutes and claims, the consent calendar includes the setting of two public hearings, one on March 19th and the other on March 26th; new fires for the police department, parks, engineering and a firefighter application. The Commission will consider awarding a bid for 2024 curb and gutter work and a contract for 2024 concrete crushing. Commissioners will also consider a change order on the washbay project, a property transfer in Riverplace Second Addition and an engineering services agreement with H-W Lochner for the Runway 13-31 project. Commissioners will close out the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
