PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is meeting for a regular meeting tonight after conducting two special meetings to address the Riggs Athletic Expansion between monthly regular gatherings. The Board will recognize the state champion girls wrestling team before considering approval of an eight-item consent calendar. Comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt will follow along with any board or public comments. Board members will also hear an update from the Riggs Student Senate. Board members will declare any conflicts of interests before recognizing Teacher of the Year Leanne Schlekeway. First reading will be given to a recommendation for C-T-E and Fine Arts curriculum along with action on the Consolidated Board of Equalization, donations and surplus property. The Board will also consider action on activity entry fees and ticket pricing, amended contracts, resignations, open enrollments and an executive session for negotiations preparations.. The Pierre School Board meets at 5:30 pm at the District Administration building.
