Lyman Raiders Upset Harding County in First Round

The Harding County Ranchers are undefeated no more as the Lyman Raiders, the seven seed in the Class B state tournament would knock off the two seed 54-49 in Rapid City Thursday night.

The Raiders, who came in with just two losses had a big test against the stout defense of Harding County who was not even allowing 30 plus points a game. Yet, Lyman was able to put up over 50 against the undefeated Ranchers to win the opening round game of the Class B state tournament on Thursday night. Lyman was one of two seven seeds to win in the first round as AA’s Harrisburg beat Mitchell in the first round in Sioux Falls.

Lyman will play the late game Friday night at 8:45 taking on the three seed Centerville in the state semifinals.
