PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The meeting will begin in special business where the Commission will congratulate the state champion Pierre Governor Girls Wrestling team before considering approval of a seven-item consent calendar. Commissioners, in unfinished business will consider approval of a plat change in Specker’s Re-subdivision, Hughes County and a bid award for 2024 aggregate base course. Three items of new business round out the published agenda. Commissioners will consider approval of the 2024 St. Patrick’s Day parade route and a contract with Condrey Associates for an employee classification study. Announcements regarding the Good Friday holiday and hours of operation will be made. The Commission will also present any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
