Stanley County Travels to Face Cheyenne-Eagle Butte for Spot in SoDak 16

Tonight the Buffaloes are one win away from reaching the SoDak 16 as they travel back to Cheyenne-Eagle Butte to face the Braves in the 2-3 contest in the Region 6A tournament.

The Buffaloes advanced to the SoDak 16 qualifying game with a 67-63 win over Crow Creek on Tuesday. Even though Stanley County was the higher seed in the game, they still had to go on the road to play the game, but it was in Eagle Butte. The game can be used as a benefit to help the Buffs being familiar with the court. The two teams played back on Saturday, January 27, Hall of Fame night in Fort Pierre. Stanley County beat the Braves 69-59. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte beat Miller on Tuesday 73-59 in the first round of the region tournament.

Tip off is scheduled 6:30 Central Time from Cheyenne-Eagle Butte School. If Stanley County wins, it’ll be the second time reaching the SoDak 16 in three years.
