Today begins the three day state wrestling tournament in Sioux Falls as both Class A and B will competing at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.
The Sully Buttes Chargers will take three girls to the state tournament as Cateri Yellowhawk along with Tahnie Yellowhawk return to the state tournament while Cheyenne Fuller will join the Charger girls at state. Both Cateri and Fuller are sophomores while Tahnie is just a freshman. For the boys, Bryson Heuertz was the lone Charger to qualify for the state tournament as the will battle in the 165.
The schedule will be the first round at 10:00 for all girls and boys weight classes and then quarterfinal matches will begin at 4:00 in the afternoon. Every wrestler will be able to compete on Thursday and Friday. A link to both the girls and boys below.
