South Dakota Senate Passes Bill To Fund New Women’s Prison In Rapid City

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The South Dakota Senate has passed a bill to fund a second women’s prison in Rapid City. Senate Bill 50 would allow for over two-point-four million in remaining American Rescue Plan Act funds and 20-point-eight million of general funds to refill the incarceration construction fund for the prison.
