PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. After a full agenda last week, tonight’s agenda is somewhat limited. The Commission will consider approval of a five-item consent calendar. The calendar includes minutes from the last meeting, claims two new hires for the Parks and Library and two appointments to Business Improvement District One. The Commission will move right into four items of new business. Commissioners will consider approval of an asphalt crushing contract and a request to bid for 2024 curb and gutter projects. The agenda also includes a contract for sidewalk at the outdoor pool and the selection of an engineer for bridge inspections. Commissioners will close out the meeting by presenting any dialogue items they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
