PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Hughes County Commission is moving it’s Monday meeting to tonight because of the President’s Day holiday. The Commission will consider approval of a three-item consent calendar before moving into new business. Final consideration will be given to a plat change in Dakota Landing Estates and will consider action on a bridge reinspection resolution. Commissioners will consider a request from Sharpe and highway bid proposals along with considering action on culverts and mag water. The Commission will discuss noxious weed posting; discuss the county’s Veterans Service Office position and consider a J-S-C contract. Also on the agenda is an insurance stipend and reports from the Auditor, County Manger and an liaison reports. The Hughes County Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm at the Hughes County Courthouse. The meeting is open to the public.
