Stanley County to Send Six Wrestlers, Heuertz Qualifies for Sully Buttes

In the Class B state tournament on the boys side there will be six wrestlers from Stanley County and one from Sully Buttes who qualified on Saturday the Region wrestling tournaments.

In Region 1B, Bryson Heuertz would place fourth in the 165 as the lone Sully Buttes Charger to qualify for the for the Class B state tournament. Heuertz lost his first match but won the next two to battle his way into the third place match to qualify for the tournament.

Six wrestlers for the Buffaloes will be at the state tournament this year as two individuals made the region championship on Saturday. Hayden Roggow and Colton Brady each reached the championship match before falling while Witt Myers, Spencer Sargent and Rylan Shrake won their third place matches and Taiten Shaw made it to the third place match to qualify.

You can see a full list of the results for both Sully Buttes and Stanley County below. The Class B state tournament runs Thursday through Saturday in Sioux Falls at the Premier Center.
