Sully Buttes Faces Sunshine Bible Academy in Home Doubleheader

The Sully Buttes Chargers will be back at home for a doubleheader tonight as the girls open its final week of the regular season as the Chargers host the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders.

The Charger girls are looking to finish the season above .500 and at 9-9 will need the two wins to finish out the year. The Chargers are sitting in fourth place in the 6B standings and with two wins this week will secure a stop in the top four hosting a first round game in the region tournament. But, even a split will make things difficult and give the Potter County Battlers a chance to pass them up in the standings as they are in fifth at 8-9 on the year. Sunshine Bible Academy is coming in at 2-13 on the season and have lost eight of nine. The Crusaders are in ninth place in the Region 6B standings.

On the boys side, the Chargers want to pick up the win with still four games left to play. The Chargers start a three game week with a home game tonight and on Thursday against Faulkton Area before traveling to Warner on Saturday to face James Valley Christian in the Warrner Classic. The Chargers are 6-10 and in sixth place in the 6B standings. Sunshine Bible comes in at 1-13 with its only win against McIntosh back in late December.

The girls game will tip off at 6:30 tonight with the boys game to follow at the gym in Onida.
