The Pierre Governor girls wrestling team will be in Harrisburg for the second time since Saturday when they square off in the ESD tournament.
The Governors get the chance for a conference tournament unlike the boys who will be wrestling in the region tournament coming up next weekend. While the girls won’t qualify for the state tournament based on this one performance, the wrestlers can still solidify themselves a spot in to the state tournament with a strong performance tonight. This is the last event of the regular season for Pierre and then will be off two weeks until the state tournament in Sioux Falls.
The ESD Tournament is set to begin at 5:00 this evening from Harrisburg High School.
