Starting Friday morning, the Pierre Governors will be hosting the State Gymnastics meet for the 2023-24 season as both Class A and AA will be in town for the two day event.
Starting at 10:00 AM on Friday, the Class A teams will showcase their skills competing for the team championship with the teams finishing up competition around 1:30. Then the Governors and Class AA will compete starting at 3:30 as Pierre will first compete on thar bars around 4:02. The Govs will then go to the beam followed by the floor and finish with the vault to close out day one. Then on Saturday, Class A will compete individually starting at 10:00 AM and then AA will have its turn around 3:30 again. Nevaeh Karber and Ryen Sheppick will both be competing in every category in All-Around while other Governors will be competing in individual categories. The equipment is coming in from Minnesota and has never been used by any of the schools, but Feller still says the crowd support can give the Governors an advantage…
