PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is set to meet tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The Commission will consider approval of a six-item consent calendar including claims, minutes from the last meeting three new hires and a raffle request filed by the Oahe Days Music and Arts Festival. Commissioners will consider bid results for Slurry Seal surface treatments and will hold two public hearings. Both public hearings are fore lease agreements with the South Dakota Department of Ag and Natural Resources. The Commission will consider a change order with Sharpe Enterprises for the washbay project and a request to purchase a new police vehicle. Also on the agenda is a request to amend an engineering agreement with Burns and McDonnell and an amendment to an agreement with Burbach Aquatics for the outdoor pool. Commissioners will end the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
