Pierre (SD) – The Oahe Hockey Association and Dairy Queen in Pierre are partnering on a new promotion to support the “Capitalize on the Future” fundraising campaign.
Each Wednesday night from 5:00pm to 8:00pm will be “Oahe Hockey Night,” with 10 percent of sales at the Pierre Dairy Queen going to support infrastructure upgrades to improve opportunities for youth in central South Dakota. Starting in 2022, the Oahe Hockey Association began a multi-year, $5 million capital campaign to make improvements to the Ice Barn practice facility, as well as the Expo Center in Ft. Pierre.
To date, more than $1 million has been raised.
Oahe Hockey Night at the Pierre Dairy Queen is an ongoing promotion that will continue each Wednesday night from 5pm to 8pm for the coming months.
The Pierre Dairy Queen is located at 519 West Sioux Avenue.
