The Stanley County Buffaloes will be on the road tonight to face the Chamberlain Cubs in a boys basketball game as the Buffs have moved up to third in the 6A standings.
While the Buffaloes won’t get a lot of seed points tonight against the 1-12 Chamberlain Cubs, it’s a must win to keep pace up the standings trying to fight for a top two seed. After Mobridge-Pollock beat Cheyenne-Eagle Butte on Tuesday, the Tigers gained more seed points creating separation between the two and three spots in the standings. The 8-7 Buffs are looking to stay over the .500 mark for the first time this season and playing only its second game with an above .500 record. Chamberlain’s only win came against Bon Homme but have lost four in a row coming into tonight.
Tip off of the varsity game is scheduled to begin around 7:45 from the Chamberlain Armory.
